Allen McCants coached one game and won it 6-0 over Tuscaloosa Athletics. There certainly was discontent on the Alabama campus about the one-game schedule as evident by this excerpt from the Corolla: "In reviewing our past athletic season, we find very little to be proud of. Handicapped by the stringent law of the Trustees, which prevented our traveling, we were compelled to play our baseball and football games on campus ... The Varsity played only one football game and won from Tuscaloosa Athletics by the score of 6 to 0." |
