Alabama vs.Auburn
A 14 point fourth quarter rally by the Tigers resulted in a 21-17 Alabama loss in the 1986 edition of the Iron Bowl. In the first, Bama scored on a 2 yard Mike Shula touchdown pass to Angelo Stafford. In the second, Shula would hit Bobby Humphrey for a 7 yard touchdown reception. Bama's final points came in the third on a 29 yard Van Tiffin field goal. Once again, Humphrey starred for the Tide in rushing for 204 yards. The 1986 Crimson Tide finished the season with a record of 10-3 and with a victory in the Sun Bowl in what would be Coach Ray Perkins' last year with Alabama.
